Sorry to hear that you have been laid off, if Ford keeps selling cars the way they have been maybe you will be back to work soon. I know what you mean about what poeple think, they do not understand that I need extra sack time, all the sports shows on tv, keeping the people working at the local sports bars and brewery. It is a tough job but somebody has to do it. :piwo: Thank for the info about the dream cruise, I hope I can get there. Mike

man the time does fly. I've been laid off from Ford 3 years now,never been busier. Everyone thinks now you don't work,you have nothing to do.

If you go to the dream cruise,book a hotel for a few days, outside Detroit. The parties,tours and shows before the cruise are just as fun, if not more so, than the actual cruise. Try crossing the border :cenzura:

Rick, I have thought about going to Dream Cruise next year or we might be headed to Mustang, Ok. for the MCA Grand National Show, next Labor Day. So many places to go so little time to do everything. I have retired and do not have the time to work on cars as much as I once did. I thought when I retired I would have all the time to do what ever I wanted to, funny how things work out. World is getting very small. and the internet is a whacky place

I go to Detroit Autorama, occasional Dream Cruise, Milan Raceway once every blue moon. I'd like to do the HotRod Power Tour. I've got friends who have done 3 or 4 and loved 'em.

these are my two. I also post of any interesting cars I do. I will start rebuilding a 66GT for a guy soon and post on here.

Rick, This something, I go to a Polish Mustang Club website and I end up talking to a person from Canada. Is the internet great or what. What kind of Mustang do you drive? Do you do shows or cruise-ins? Mike

we're not too far from each other. I'm from Windsor,across the river from Detroit. We go to Great Wolf in Sandusky once or twice a year.
